Giving Back

Elevate Northwest is a nonprofit organization that is centered around providing life-affirming and virtue building lessons for youth and their families. Our primary focus is providing tangible benefit to our communities by enhancing the mental health of our youth, teaching them positive life skills, and collaborating with community groups for the greater good.

Our organization was formed under the principles of youth development and community building. Here are some examples of how we act out these principles:

  • We have our own in-house therapeutic life coach! Seth Taylor has been instrumental to Elevate since our beginning, and works with our players, parents, and coaches on a regular basis as part of our programs. Many of our athletes also work with Seth on an individual basis, and we provide financial assistance when needed.
  • We also have our own 50-page Elev8 Culture Code guidebook, which teaches our players 32 different lessons about the mental skills it takes to be great at life. Our lessons range from Gratitude to Service, and from Discipline to Love. What’s love got to do with a sports program? Absolutely everything! • Everybody that’s part of Elevate is in a program that aims to build the esteem and develop the character of youth and their families. We donate thousands of dollars and just as many hours every year to charitable causes, and we provide over a hundred thousand dollars of scholarships to young people who cannot afford to participate in our programs every year. We have many programs that don’t require tryouts or “selections”, and we would never turn anyone away for lack of finances.
  • We are active participants with several food banks in our communities, outreach groups from Snohomish to downtown Seattle, equipment donations for local families, and even amazing partnerships with international groups! We have donated hundreds of uniforms and thousands of pieces of equipment to our friends in Los Frailes, Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, we donated thousands of dollars to our friends in Maui after the devastating fires, and we’re hosting several international teams from Vietnam, Mexico, and Canada for a baseball tournament and a week of fun in Seattle.

We believe we’re just scratching the surface and look forward to helping build-up our amazing communities for a long time to come.
